Philip Haas, UK, 1988, 40’, E (without subtitles)
In 1988, the artist and filmmaker Philip Haas succeeded in creating an extraordinarily impressive film. Haas accompanies the British land artist Richard Long through the Sahara and allows us to witness how the artist, literally in passing, creates ephemeral works of highly poetic expressive power. In one of the scenes, Long lays out a stone piece that is very similar to the one in the exhibition FUTURE PRESENT.
