PLANET DIETER / THE ROTH UNIVERSE
The first programme section in the new year is dedicated to the universal artist Dieter Roth whose work belongs in a category of its own. Existing classifications and genres fall far short in the case of an artist like Roth. The impressive nature of his oeuvre was also on full display in 2003 when Schaulager was inaugurated with a major Dieter Roth retrospective.
