Film programme
December

06 Sonntag
VISUAL STAGINGS OF REALITY
The five artists featured in this programme section are all represented with significant works in the collection of the Emanuel Hoffmann Foundation and in the exhibition FUTURE PRESENT. Jeff Wall, Thomas Ruff and Thomas Demand exemplify three very different approaches to the photographic collision of realit(ies) and truth(s). Monika Sosnowska and Andrea Zittel explore connotations in their works by responding in a particular way to dominant, reality-defining spatial scenarios – in Sosnowska’s case the occupation is parasitic while Zittel reacts with alternative ways of life and forms of living.
